Heheheh, awesome! The drawing and the video both! :D *gives five stars to both*

Edit: Well, if we were allowed to rate our own comics, that is. ^^;

Reply Pear3, October 25th, 2009, 6:49 pm

0_0 You're fast, that would've taken me three days at least (with monster Algebra 2 homework), very cool expressions.

I watched the video without any sound, it was very confusing. (Or is it confusing with sound too? Maybe it's me trying to make sense out of everything?)

Reply your shadow, October 25th, 2009, 9:11 pm

link: thanks man! : D i got bord one day and this is what came of it.

pear: try it with sound it should make sence, oh i just had to draw 3 of them yesterday. i started early. XD

Nice job Shadow nice job indeed

Reply Pear3, October 29th, 2009, 2:30 pm

...Is someone going to make a page?

I would go again, but a). that would involve thinking of something, which I can't do at the moment and b). I am having some scanner-driver-CD-ROM drive-issues (I have recently found an external CD ROM drive so I can make up for it but it would take a little bit) and c). I am planning on learning Paint.NET so that might take a while, and though I could just do another coloured page, they take a while.

Reply your shadow, November 2nd, 2009, 3:14 pm

i'm kind of busy, sorry..: <

Reply Dolores, November 4th, 2009, 3:15 pm

I guess I could do another page if everyone is busy. I'll be at home for a while... Cause my kidneys hate me! D:

Excellent venting technique = personifying your internal organs.

Haha, sorry, we are just now learning figurative language/personification/anthropromorphism(YESTAKETHATSPELLING) in LA for poetry, totally not my favorite subject but those long words make me sound up to 10% more intelligent.

Anthropromorphism. HA!

Reply Dark_Link777, November 4th, 2009, 7:01 pm

Ah... But it's actually anthroPOmorphism. Nice try, though. :P

Reply Pear3, November 4th, 2009, 7:05 pm

I kind of thought the teacher was just making that word up to make herself sound smarter than us. Ugh, will ridiculous writing assignments follow me through high school too? Because I will happily take ten periods of ridiculous maths instead.

Reply Dark_Link777, November 4th, 2009, 7:09 pm

YES. English is always ridiculous. I happen to enjoy math, however. But some people are the other way. Either way, you'll keep doing what you're doing now in all your subjects, only more. Yeah...

Reply Pear3, November 4th, 2009, 7:14 pm

The thing is is that I do enjoy math quite a lot. So taking a full day of ridiculous maths would be somewhat of a treat. So that would kind of be an unfair trade.

I'm on the chatroom, if you're still on? <-- That was supposed to come out crossed out, if anyone else is a HTML geek. (Not that I know enough to call myself a HTML geek. Or maybe I do. I have almost completely read through a HTML manual. It's kind of my newly adopted hobby/fetish/obsession. Not that that information was relevant or important at all. (It's nice to have a hobby though, whether I'm completely ignorant or not.))

Actually, I don't know if this is just me, but twice when I opened the chatroom today this has happened: a pop-up message shows up saying something like "your computer could be at risk for viruses, ______ can scan your computer and fix this problem", with a different name for the "scanner" each time? (Having extensive expirience in the area of catching computer viruses/IMing with Norton employees in various countries for hours getting them fixed, I did not fall for this. (this has happened to me three times >-<)) Anyway, when the pop-up message is X-ed out, a new internet window opens up to a fake virus scanner product page, probably trying to convince you to buy it/start a scan (I didn't read it completely but I've seen pages like this several times)? I figured it is probably the shout-box, if it is a problem at all and not just me, as this has happened only when opening the chatroom and not any other pages on SSOC or SmackJeeves. If it is a virus or spyware thing, it isn't a very severe one because I ran a virus scan right after that and Norton didn't notice anything, so I didn't catch anything.

...So, however you would like to process that information? This might be just me, since I seem to be virus/spyware-prone. -_-

Edit: It might be because I have my browser set to view text in large font, but that paragraph seems really long and rambly. Sorry for spamming? I do have a bad habit of rambling/typing WAY too much. (...And I dislike LA?...)

Reply Dark_Link777, November 4th, 2009, 8:36 pm

Well, according to a website I found, < strike > has been deprecated in favor of < del >. I think. So it should be <del>striked</del> stricken out.

But maybe you're just not allowed to enter HTML in this comment box at all.

Or maybe it's completely random. I don't know.

Reply Pear3, November 4th, 2009, 8:41 pm

That would make sense (that I don't know that), because the HTML manual I am reading was published in 2000. So all I know how to do is 4.0 Transitional. (I think that's what it's called? I have the top line of HTML (from the manual) for a document memorized (<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC"-//W3C//DTD 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <-- That was me showing off.) (And yes, that is, for a matter of fact, what I have been doing all evening. (besides delicious Algebra II homework))

I have a more current manual though, so I'll read that when I finish this one. (Is excited.)

I guess you can only do Italics and Bold.

Reply Dark_Link777, November 4th, 2009, 9:00 pm

:'D You remind me so much of myself, haha... Awesome. I love code and math.

As for the HTML, I think you can do links, too... <a href="">Google?</a>

...or not.

Reply Pear3, November 4th, 2009, 9:05 pm

I found myself writing HTML code for a list of synonyms on the back of a worksheet today (the weird part being that it was written in HTML code. I make lists all the time.) in Science while the teacher was rambling or something... while everyone else is doodling/talking/paying attention. Haha, I got some weird looks.

I don't know anything about programming... that's probably next on my list, just to put me that much more apart from my peers. XD

Augh, going to bed now to sleep/stay up for six more hours reading. (Are you also a night-owl?)

Reply Dark_Link777, November 4th, 2009, 9:31 pm

I used to be. Now I usually try to get to bed by one. I got tired of being tired, heh. But I haven't been working on projects as much as a result... For instance, I can't remember the last time I drew a page for SSOC. :x

Reply Pear3, November 4th, 2009, 9:58 pm

I'm so sneaky. I just snuck back downstairs. >:-P
Six hours was an exaggeration, haha. I've only stayed up until four once or twice. I am NOT a morning person, so staying up past one is generally a not-good idea, haha.
Okay, going back upstairs now to take notes on the Stamp Act. (American History homework that I've convienently forgotten until now. Ha.)
I usually have way too much time on my hands (when I don't have writing to do, ick.), I suppose that won't last very long.

Reply Dark_Link777, November 4th, 2009, 10:05 pm

Bleh, History is my least favorite. It's nothing but memorization... ugh. I'm not a morning person either, heheh. The last time I stayed up until four, I was watching a movie, heh.

Reply Pear3, November 4th, 2009, 10:35 pm

I'm so sneaky. I just snuck back down. Everyone else is asleep. >:)
Haha, just finished the notes a day early. No AH homework tomorrow Bwahahaha.
I probably could have just made a page in that window of time. ...But I'm so lazy because that would involve writing dialougue/plot.
It's 11:33 where I am, and I'm not tired at all lalalalala.

We should probably be using the chatroom for this, heh heh.

Reply Dark_Link777, November 4th, 2009, 11:59 pm

Speaking of which, we now have a new chatroom, everyone. No ads, no scams. Yay!

@ Dark_Link ~

Reply Dark_Link777, November 5th, 2009, 4:28 pm

Also, I love how the teacher has to explain to everyone how to open Internet Explorer... Yep, that's pretty much how all of my computer classes go. xP Awesome.

Reply Pear3, November 5th, 2009, 4:33 pm

The particularly sad part is that this was taking place in P.E. The girls' P.E. class very rarely actually plays sports, mostly we just learn about them and take written tests. (While the boys are all playing football.)

I actually drew this in Science though, nothing eventfull happened in that class either. (This is what seventh grade was preparing me for...?) xD

Reply Dark_Link777, November 5th, 2009, 4:42 pm

Geez, really? That sucks... I like my personal fitness class. All we do is play games.

Reply Pear3, November 5th, 2009, 4:49 pm

Ugh, so lucky. :-l

I'm starting to notice a pattern. I wonder if there is a limit to how many comments there can be on a comic?

Reply the dead physco, November 6th, 2009, 9:09 am

Has anyone seen my crack pipe!!!!!!

Reply Pear3, November 6th, 2009, 10:34 am

@ Dead - ... I don't know how to respond to that.
... Technically, the correct punctuation would be a question mark.

@ Everybody Else:
This has nothing to do with SSOC, but I spent like two hours on it just now so here you go:
I made this in the VERY cool, very free, Paint.NET.
(P.S. The lineart looks pixellated at this size, but you can zoom in if you mouse over and it looks better.)
(P.P.S. Here's the tutorial I used for anyone who is interested : )
(P.P.P.S. For anyone who is not particularly good at stalking, this is my character from the Harvest Moon collab, (which I seem to have abandoned <_<;;))
(P.P.P.P.S. (This is the last one!) Since I have a ridiculous amount of extra time on my hands, I printed the lineart out and colored it with crayons: )

@ Shadow: HAHAHA I just watched your video with sound, that is hilarious. Have you seen I've Got Some Falling To Do and The Ultimate Showdown, also by Lemon Demon? (You probably have, but I live under a rock. (Metaphorically, anyway.))
(P.S. I just read through the SSOC archive yesterday (don't ask) and noticed that Amanda was dressed up as a Pikachu last year, as well, haha. Did you do that on purpose?)

Reply Micchiru, November 7th, 2009, 1:08 pm

With so many post scripts, you'd think you'd just drop them and use transition words...

I totally want to post something on here, but I really have no ideas at all..... xD;

Reply Pear3, November 7th, 2009, 1:13 pm

Ah, sorry about that xD
I wasn't intending on having that many post scripts but I kept rambling and rambing... I need to have some self control, haha.

I think Dolores was going to go, but I don't know how that's going. I would say I am busy, but I think we all know by now that I have a ridiculous amount of free time this week. ...I just have no creative juices. <_<;

Reply Micchiru, November 7th, 2009, 1:19 pm

Maybe we need some sort of even more ridiculous plot twists... xD

*thinks for a while*

Reply Pear3, November 7th, 2009, 1:23 pm

Um, I *used* to be good at brainstorming. I think the Internet is eating my creativity, or something.

Haha, if there really is a limit on comments, we're probably getting close. xD Dark Link got a better chatroom that doesn't eat computers, fyi. (Which I rambled on and on at myself very late last night. So just ignore the archive. >_>;;;)

There's always the option of a paradox, where someone in the comic gets on a computer, thus discovering the comic online. (But that one kind of makes my brain hurt a little.)

Reply Micchiru, November 7th, 2009, 1:26 pm

I think I might just draw something and see what happens...
